How many people quit their job for crypto?

Seeing lots of post in steemit on quiting jobs to do full time crypto work...

:) Me to now I make pennies for pressing a button :)

not a good decision for everyone

If you had plenty of cash to invest in crypto, you were probably well-off even before that investment. I guess it's not wise to quit such a well-paid job (at least not yet).

Hi there. Personally I don't think quitting your job is a good idea. You never know with crypto. What I do think is that you can generate quite a lot for a second income. If you live in countries where the Dollar has a much greater value than your own currency and you can make a decent income on Steemit perhaps not such a bad idea.

so true! unemployed (due to a series of unfortunate events) and can't commit to a job, Steemit is going to be a huge help. every penny means so much. especially since the dollar is x4.34 at current rate.

Agree with your points

@giantbear - it's not my idea, but I'm seeing so many post as leaving job to make crypto as full time. everything from internet source only. I totally agree with your point and I know how difficult to get a job and don't wanna lose my current either.

I quit my job back in January, but I was able to do that because of YouTube , crypto has been a side thing for me as well as affiliate marketing
You got to diversify

Well, I'd love to, but unfortunately I'm locked into a 2 year contract with my current employer. If I break that contract, I have to pay them $15,000 as reimbursement for the training that they pay for me to attend. Pretty shit deal, but some of the training that I go through is really expensive. From SANS stuff to SailPoint stuff. 7 months of that 2 year stint is over, though.

@ Matt-a - sorry to hear you. Contract job is a big pain and feels like working slave..

It seriously does a lot of times . . .

I just wrote about quitting my job in 1997 to do Web 1.0 stuff. And within a few days, I was asked whether Web 1.0 is comparable to crypto.

Indeed it is. Check out my Intro post! I am not posting the link here, but I think you can find it (hint: it's Dangerous). LOL

Good question, by the way! I know someone on STEEM who is giving it a genuine thought right now. Really.

I just put my written notice in to quit. I have to give 90 day notice per my contract....but I can still trade on the side. For reference I profited $50,000 USD in June (first month trying it) from a virtual zero risk arbitrage trade I've discovered. I guess the only risk is the arbitrage disappears....I do have 100 BTC plus a few alt coins I'm holding long term for safety net.

In June I made half my annual salary.....

FUCK THE MAN

FUCK WORK

I'd be really interested to know how did things go with you? Did you make any more profit or not?
