I have tried to understand what you have written about, as I don't have much Music sense and so I don't get Much about It, But it looks good to read. Something is happening on progressive side. Today I have written an article about what I learnt from your article yesterday, If you care to read about it click Here

Thank you, great article.

The internet has democratized music so much already, but blockchain taking it a step further would be amazing. Right now, sure it's relatively easy to get some exposure via Soundcloud and YouTube, but monetizing on that is a different story, and Soundcloud and YouTube are the ones making the money for the most part.

Spotify is definitely the one making a decisive step so far and I believe they will be leading the future of music distribution.

How about a gaming platform here on Steemit?

not sure how you'd envision that, though am guessing it'd probably make more sense to leave PeerPlays as the gaming platform, also built on Bitshares' Graphene tech, and perhaps bridge the two - maybe with EOS...

Is peerplays run by Steemit?

no, but it was birthed out of the Bitshares community, built on some of the same tech created by Steemit founder Dan Larimer.

Great info,
thanks!

Wow I had no idea Spotify jumped on the blockchain train!
I recently joined Musicoin - curious to see which platforms will be successful in the long run.

i will never have anything to do with "Record Business Corporations" again. They can work with all the Rolling Stones & Beatles of the World -That they actually wrote that is- . But All Music that was created by Blacks in America will be owned/distributed etc. by Blacks in America. No outsiders . Ever again, in Any capacity, or Anything else. (Which Includes Social Media Outlets) & all those former "Record Deals" will be nullified easy. So knowing this, i don't know the value of what they are doing. though I wish them the best of what they deserve .
