Finally, some good news about the blockchain technology from the Capitol Hill. A new report from Congress labeled “2017 - The Year of Cryptocurrencies” where crypto is featured for the first time ever. The report calls for industry shakers and bakers and lawmakers to cooperate on this new technology and use it more.

2018 Joint Economic Report is suggesting that cryptocurrencies will benefit the consumers and businesses in the long run and will protect the nation’s economy and its infrastructure.
An entire section dedicated to blockchain and crypto in the brand-new report, signaling to people like me that crypto is here to stay for a while and noting that bitcoin and etherium had a great year in 2017, outperforming the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 index.
