BREAKING: Coinbase Officially Launches SegWit Support For Bitcoin - As Just Announced by Vice President / GM of Coinbase.
Long awaited, long fought for -- Coinbase finally gets their act together on this issue, while many others in the space have long since had this taken care of.
It has really impacted the entire crypto sphere, as Coinbase controls so much of the Bitcoin transaction market, along with their large volume for LiteCoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash - which was stealth launched without notice -- another big controversy.

For those unfamiliar with SegWit, this upgrade helps reduce the size of Bitcoin transactions. This improves the overall transaction capacity of the Bitcoin network and should also help reduce the fees customers pay on bitcoin transactions. You can read more about SegWit here.

Maybe this news will help Coinbase put to bed their last controversy. If they are able to introduce some more currencies to their platform they may be able to keep their current percentage of the market. Thanks for the post!
