Crypto Journey: Saving my Bacon but leaving nothing to grow
Hey everyone,
This is going to be a super-quick post to show my negative progress on Bittrex. So, I have, essentially, $7 USD-worth of BTC left in my Bittrex account after some unintended charges hit my bank. These charges left me in the hole by over $200 USD and scrambling to stay afloat. I knew my family wouldn't be able to help on this; and I knew also that my next paycheck was nearly 2 weeks away still, so I had to do something before overdraft charges began to pour into my account.
Enter my Crypto safety net... this is one of the 2 reasons I do what I do here on Steemit. It saved my Bacon for certain this time! I believe, if I was not able to cover it, that I would have probably had over $300 in overdraft charges hitting the bank. That could have closed my account, for all I know.
Either way, I had loaded up on my Crypto portfolio and I was able to convert everything back to BitCoin (BTC) and transfer it out to my Crypto Wallet to transfer to my bank afterwards. I had enough to cover and leave me with a bit extra. I'm not saying we're safe completely, but it was enough to give us some wiggle room and delay the consequences. By doing so I was able to add in some extra funds that I was owed in order to cover some other charges and get a bit of food in the house.
I count myself blessed on those days that I do what I do here on Steemit.
Thank you Steemit, for this gives me some freedom. Now, I must begin to re-load my Crypto Portfolio. I think I'm going to focus on DOGE or ReddCoin (RDD) first in an effort to reach the 100K Units of each before loading up on other types. I decided this because those are the cheapest I have been looking at and, if they moon to $10/Unit I'd be a Millionaire overnight and I could do so much good for my family, friends, and the community in general.
I could finally make a difference.
