What is Crowdini?
Crowdini is a question and answer game. We ask you to answer one question a day and give you points based on how your answer compares to the majority answer.
We have incorporated Steemit in a new innovative way. Read more about Crowdini and how we have incorporated Steemit in our intro post here.
At the end of the game the top 3 in points split 90% of the prize pool and all other players who voted on every question for that game will split 10% of the prize pool.
It is designed to be something you can do in a few seconds a day but hopefully sparks conversation and thought.

It's become "all about me" and the a very close second mentality is "how can I show off on FB/IG/whatever to make me look better?"

Even worse is when leaders do what's best for themselves instead of what's best for the people they're representing or managing.

I really wish it was lower and I think it is different for every person. I think there are people who almost always think of other first but there are also people who almost never do or care about others and I feel like the later are a growing number sadly

I think there's a small 25-51% chance that people think of what's best for society :P

Lots of people only think for themselves.

I think most people try to be good to others, but sometimes they're just oblivious to how their actions will affect others.

People are generally pretty selfish!

This is not my personal score. I think that I'm a very considerate person. I am a good listener and can see other peoples point of view, but I don't think that the majority of people are like that. My life has taken a turn in the last couple of years and opened me up to a world that I never knew existed and I have met some of the most deplorable people and now I seem to only see these type of people. Its horrible and I'm hoping I'm in a dream. No-one is your friend, everyone only thinks of themselves and would steal off their own mother, men seem to have no problem with hitting women/their partners and no one does anything about it and I just cannot believe I am witnessing this. I was in my room 2 days ago with headphones on listening to music and I have it loud and generally cannot hear anyone. Well, I heard this scream/cry of a child sooo loud that it made me jolt up. I took my headphones off and continued to hear this child screaming and I heard what was making him scream - a man (who I soon learn is his father) was hitting him sooo hard that I could actually hear the impact of the hits on the child's body. Now just to paint a picture. My room is approx 50 mtrs from the road on the 2nd floor of an apartment block. My window does not face the front, it faces the side and I had earphones in listening to loud music and I could hear the impact of the hits on this little boys body. Well, I jumped out of bed (this is all within 10-20 secs of realising what it was) and ran out the front. I didn't know where they were, but I was gonna find them. I ran to the road and looked up and down and there were quite a few people in either direction but didn't take long to find the $%^$!. I can't put what I want to call him here, so he is expletives. He was just about the hit him again and I yelled out and said don't you dare touch him! There were some low-level choice words that I was expecting from this monster in return and also telling me that he was his father. I said I don't care who you are, if you lay another hand on him, I will be calling the police. I tried to intimidate me by walking towards me and looking threatening. I don't scare easy and have this ability to not show fear or that I'm scared, even when terrified. But I wasn't terrified or scared with this monster. He stopped and called me a few names, like I care, lol but one thing he called me was a do-gooder. WTF!!! He thinks that me stopping him bashing his child is a do-gooder!! This is the world we live in. There were a lot of people around on the street that would have seen this incident and not one said anything at all. I came from my apartment to do something as I could not sit there and not. The screams were gut-wrenching. It went on for a couple of minutes and by the end, he was not so angry and actually had a different look on his face. A look of sorry and shame. Here's hoping he might take a look at his actions. I ended with, "you need to be a better father and person so they can have a good role model to help them grow into decent young men". We live in a society where people can walk past a man bashing a child and no-one does anything (well except for me), this is a prime example that people only care about themselves and would choose what is best for them than for the good of society. I can tell you that eradicating child abuse is for the good of society - people say they care and it's deplorable and if I saw someone doing that, blah blah blah. It's only words to most, unfortunately, because when they witness it and they have a chance to do something about it, they couldn't give a shit. I have lots of stories, though this is probably the only one involving a child in that way. Lots of involved children, but never getting hit like that
