Crowdfunding – Where are the investors?
Specifically, where are the protest from groups and individuals excluded from investments by regulators?
Surely rules and regulations that prevent people from investing because their income or asset base is below a certain level are discriminatory.
Why is it legal to effectively tell someone who want to get ahead by saving and investing that because you are poor, your options are expensive, low yielding investments, or to take a chance on lotto and poker machines.
In a world where technology dramatically reduce cost and information is widely available, is it not time for individuals to demand their right to invest in assets they choose?
Crowdfunding platforms give qualified or approved investors access to new and exciting investing opportunities.
Surely it is time to truly democratize finance by extending the opportunity to all, independent of location, income or asset base?
