Islam is the religion of peace.Every Muslim believe it hardly, It's true and It's eternal truth.But it is necessary to understand the meaning and extent of these words as well as many pronounced truths.Because there is a possibility of taking the wrong words or the incomplete meaning of correct words.The Holy Quran said about characteristics of teaching & provision of Islam in the following verse in Al-Quran-

یٰۤاَهْلَ الْكِتٰبِ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُوْلُنَا یُبَیِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِیْرًا مِّمَّا كُنْتُمْ تُخْفُوْنَ مِنَ الْكِتٰبِ وَ یَعْفُوْا عَنْ كَثِیْرٍ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ مِّنَ اللهِ نُوْرٌ وَّ كِتٰبٌ مُّبِیْنٌ یَّهْدِیْ بِهِ اللهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهٗ سُبُلَ السَّلٰمِ وَ یُخْرِجُهُمْ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَی النُّوْرِ بِاِذْنِهٖ وَ یَهْدِیْهِمْ اِلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیْمٍ.

O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book.By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.
In this verse contains the word 'salam'.Generally, the word 'salam' is used to for 'peace'.This meaning is not wrong, but the subtle meaning is 'freedom or Liberation'.Only ridiculing from disaster and turmoil is a great way of peace.Isn't it?
Islam shows the way to release from danger and turmoil.For that reason, Islam is the religion of peace.

However, Commands in a war of Muhammad(SM) can help you to decide about of Muslim & Islam.

Most of them are below-

❶ Don't cut a tree.
❷ Don't kill a woman.
❸ Don't kill a child.
❹ Don't kill a sick person.
❺ Don't kill old people.
❻ Don't kill a monk or a priest.
❼ Don't destroy temple or a church.
❽ Don't disfigure the dead.
❾ Don't destroy a building.
❿ Don't kill an animal except for eating.
11.Don't kill those who surrendered.
12.Be good to the prisoners & feed him.
13.Don't kill who ran away.
14.Don't enforce Islam.

➶ After above all Prophet Muhammad (SM) said-

"The most excellent jihad is when one speaks a true word in the presence of a tyrannical ruler".

According to Islamic rules, If you slaughtering a cattle, goat etc you have to sharpen your knife behind the animals.Because of, the animals do not get hurt by hearing its sounds or see it.
The Prophet (sm) said, 'Any non-Muslim person who oppressed or harassed his rights(By Muslim), or worked hard to him, or took anything from him in his name, I would complain against him on the Day of Resurrection.
I will try to show you enough info about of characteristics of Islam & Muslim.They(Muslims) are not violent or aggressive.You have to remove your negative thinking about of Islam & Muslim.
Now I am providing a greatness of Islam from Holy Quran from following Ayah-

"Whoever kills a person [unjustly]…it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind.” (Qur’an, 5:32)

The Prophet (sm) forbade somebody to commit injustice, although he is non-Muslim-

أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ” اتَّقُوا دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ كَافِرًا، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ دُونَهَا حِجَابٌ

Anas ibn Malik(Ra:) reported: The Messenger of Allah(sm) said, “Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, even if he is an unbeliever, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.” (That mean's his curse accept quickly)".(Musnad-e-Ahmad:Hadith:12577,12549).

This is the greatness of Islam.Notwithstanding this, how can a person declare us terrorist?

However, we are not in Steemit to criticize each other.We are here to explore our mind & learn something we didn't know before.I will try to show our religious greatness, you can also same here by showing your religious greatness.I will welcome you.But please don't criticise other religion.It can hurt any religious person who is Muslim or non-muslim.I think I have so many mistakes here, please try to forgive me, from your benevolent mind or from your greatness what is a resource of your great religion.
