I taught myself how to applique quilt and I love it. That's a method where you cut out shapes and use special iron on paper to make designs on quilts. Its like making a painting but with fabric.

Quilts can be amazing works of art. My ex was a quilter, and I developed quite an interest in classic Amish style quilts when I was just out of college... even took a couple of classes. These days, I just admire the patience and handiwork of others.
