Ruana, overcoat or poncho knitted in crochet
As they are my beautiful people, my beautiful people, a special greeting to all my crochet friends who are always aware of the projects I do week after week.
Looking for a project to do is not easy, I always want to show things that are easy to do, economical and have that touch of sweetness and color.
Today I'd like to show you a bigger project or perhaps a more daring one, since it's a poncho that has a different style. We can use it in winter or summer, we can make it elegant with finer threads or with cotton thread to make it more youthful, soft and fresh.
Step by step
The work is based on making 2 rectangles of 80x45 centimeters. Then we join them with a low point as we are going to observe it later in a mini video.
-The first thing we are going to knit are 60 chains, we take double strand and we get into the fifth chain with double high point, we continue in the same point of base with 2 double high points a chain and 3 double high points, then we weave 3 cad and we thread in the fourth chain with a low point, we weave 3 cad and we make again another fan of 3 high double points a chain and 3 high double points threaded in the same point of base, thus we repeat the same process as it is noticed in the image.
I raise 4 chains and we make again fans of high double points inserted inside the fan of the previous lap, 5 chains and a fan, we continue this lap until finishing.
We start this round with 4 chains, a fan of double high points inside the fan of the previous round, then we weave 3 chains and string in the middle of the 5 chains of the base, 3 chains and a fan again, so we keep repeating the same process until finishing the whole round.***
- We repeat all this process until we complete the 80 cm of the rectangle.
Demonstration video to join both rectangles
As we can see in the images this poncho can be used in different ways, but you like this pattern of weaving you can change it, you can also do it in loom or woven in two needles, I guarantee that with this poncho capture the looks of all people in the street.
I hope you liked this project as much as I did, making tutorials is not as easy as it seems, all this takes time, either to weave, get the necessary materials or wait for the model to arrive to take the photos. Everything is a process, but when there is a desire everything can be achieved. Until a next post friends, I love you very much, bye bye.
Everything seems impossible until it's done.
