So you wanna be a Taco?! 🌮
With Halloween quickly approaching, I wanted to share a throwback to last year. When I asked the kiddo what he wanted to be, he confidently said “a beef taco”. Well, okay then!
Due to lack of any impressive taco costumes for purchase, I decided to make it myself. It turned out pretty good, and better yet.. Ben loved it. Amazing what you can do with some felt, tulle, glue and thread.
He scored some serious candy for this one, a lot of which I ate ;)
As for this year, my plan WAS to make his costume again.. but I didn’t have it in me (I think I have overloaded myself with too many projects lately). He is going as a Train 🚂 - Target to the rescue!

HAHA! That is so great! I love the random things kids seem to come up with. Homemade costumes always have a little more star power to them, too. lol You really did a fantastic job putting it together. And he's super adorable.
The bonus of taking young kids trick-or-treating: parents are rewarded also! (Thank goodness they don't know how to count yet! heehee)

Yes, I'm sure it'll get trickier as they get older. We keep the bags up in the cupboard so they can't just help themselves... and eventually it disappears... mostly from mom and dad raiding it after they're in bed. lol
We tried the same.. also try to hide the pre-halloween candy from myself, which was a fail! I will need to grab another bag to pass out to the kids lol
This is incredibly awesome a costume. Great job and I hope Ben is the darling of the neighborhood with his taco costume!
