Most of you know I dislike both political parties...
I think Covid-19 is real, I think the reporting standards have been so bad that it is hard to know what to believe.
However, it is really lame to keep saying the word Science when clearly the lockdowns are not scientific. Clearly less contact is helpful with a contagious virus, that has nothing to do with how the lockdowns are being implemented.
Common sense says, it's a numbers game, less contact, less spread.
That does not give Democratic Senators the right to decided where and how the virus is spread.
Yesterday I went to Bestbuy, my laptop needs to be replaced and I have been putting it off for a year. Store clerks were taking orders in the parking lot and bring out merchandize. Next door at Safeway, 100s of people were shopping, down the road at Walmart the same thing was happening.
Please don't try to just say the word "Science" to explain that.
Science is Science. Science is not the problem. The problem is the people making these half baked decisions. :-)

The trending page is fine. I don't know Korean, but I do know how to track where Steem Volume is and which exchanges have been pumping it.
If we want more English speaking people, I guess we will have to attract them and hope they have stake.

Im happy to start working on just that. Working on bringing back many of the people that loved steemit but became disenchanted with certain aspects. Its a great time to let them know that there is a dofferent culture now that is likely going to be closer to what brung them here to join in the first place.

Over here on the west side, we've just been declared a "Stage 2" county, whatever that means.
I have to say I have been mostly impressed with the level of common sense local people have displayed here for the last three months, independently of various decrees from Governor Jay. Now we are starting to get visitors from Seattle... and THEY are behaving stupidly.
I dislike politics, because it uses science as a convenience or tool, rather than as a set of facts and guidelines to help people in general.
Of course it is science - sadly we haven't had any large chunks of data for a century. So your shopping yesterday was the experiment. In a year or two science will know how to handle this. Evidence do point towards that everything should have been done a month ago though.
(Locally here in Scandinavia Sweden was slow and didn't go for draconian lockdown, and now they have four times as many dead as us in Denmark and eight times as many as Norway and Finland. We think of them as the control group. (yes, I know that was nasty, didn't mean it in a bad way.)

The rules here are totally ridiculous. I am not against safety standards that are justified and discussed.
I am opposed to blindly picking the winners and losers and pretending it is Scientific. :)

This is a very well spoken(typed) article. The contents are ignored by the media daily. The lockdown is ruining everything and will have far reaching consequences. I can't wait until its all over.
I never imagined in life that this level of life stopping event could occur inside the USA aside from a major war.
The science behind these decisions is not being divulged to the general public due to Covid-19 shutdowns, according to the greatest political minds of our era :>)

Have you noticed China making serious moves on multiple territories, all at the same time, while more and more of their money (payout trail) is being exposed; especially here in the U.S.? Hint-Hint...

Here in Canada, we come back slowly to normal but we need to continue the social distancing as usual, etc...
LOl this virus only exposed two things our economic frailties and our cognitive function frailties, nothing else. Pretty soon they'll say we need to eat each other to survive and we'll consider it too. Its Redonk!
