As you all know, I'm not one to do covers and usually concentrate on writing my own music. This song by Serena Mathews @paintingangels just took me away to somewhere that I've not been for a long time, that place, as a musician which is quite foreign, is total admiration for another fellow creative soul. Now, there are many many great musicians here on Steemit that I love to listen to, but there's just something magical about Serena's songwriting that I'm addicted to.

I really hope you like what I've done with your song 'Wish Away' Serena and will no doubt be speaking to you and @pechichemena in our Helpienaut village very soon.

Darren Claxton is a Songwriter, Musician and Producer of his own music, from Derbyshire UK. Darren.. you brought me to tears, honestly. I'm a mess now. Can't say thank you enough for this TOTAL SURPRISE! Are you aware that you posted it on the full moon? Dreamiest of timings. Truly, I am so impressed. And there is something else dreamy reflecting in the hanging on your wall, to the right of you (your left) .. like a swing swinging, or somethng swaying in a breeze. It's hypnotic combined with your singing.

You are so welcome! You are an amazing songwriter! We will now have to collaborate!
It's such a bitter sweet song and reminds me of my own heartbreak that I experienced years ago.
The reflection in the mirror is the washing line swinging in the breeze!
I was aware of the full moon and am a huge Lunar fan...although I'm not knowledgeable on the whole Pagan rituals that exist.
Once again, thanks for letting me into your song and for letting me sprinkle some Darren Magic all over it!!

Beautiful. Serena is also one if my favorite steemians and I know this song in her voice, it is incredible how a song changes in the voice of another performer. Beautiful rendition, Darren and beautiful song @paintingangels

Beautiful! I love the original and your version is spot on :) the guitar just laying down a bed of arpeggios for a very clean vocal to just lay on top like silk. Love it . This is a very special entry Darren :). Thanks for sharing this with us !
