Exploring food market in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica #MarketFriday by @dswigle
Puerto Viejo is the largest tourist destination on Costa Rica's small Caribbean coast. Other nearby communities are Cahuita, Cocles, Punta Uva and Manzanillo.
It is a coastal town in Talamanca in the Limón Province in southeastern Costa Rica, originally called Old Harbor.
It´s known in the surfing community for one of the biggest and most powerful waves in the country with lush jungle and tropical climate. It is also home to beautiful beaches, such as Playa Chiquita, Playa Negra, and Punta Uva, which are a few of Costa Rica's most spectacular beaches to be be found.
Puerto Viejo offers a unique colorful culture with Reggaeton beats, local food market and handmade products, so let´s check my gallery;)

Oh, the coast there is sooo beautiful, isn't it? It used to be one of my favorite go-to destinations (Costa Rico) until I discovered that so many of those Caribbean islands are also amazing.
It makes it so hard to choose!
Did you get to do much surfing when you were there? Such beautiful beaches to navigate your boards! I love your markets there, everything so fresh and yummy looking! I do like the fact that there are enough rice and beans to go around for everyone!!!!

Yeah, Costa Rica is a dream destination for nature lover with incredible wildlife. I have such happy memories of my time in Costa Rica;)
