South Korea has the same problem with influence peddling in government as we have here in the States. Companies with strong ties to government are known as "chaebols" and Samsung is one of their bigger chaebols with close ties to South Korean president Park Geun-hye. Samsung was raided earlier today by investigators seeking evidence that Samsung may have given gifts to one of the president's aides. In light of recent news, we've put together a venn showing the influence Samsung has here with the U.S. federal government. Of particular interest is Greg Guice, a Samsung lobbyist who has also held the position of director of legislative affairs at the FCC.

Yup, Samsung is just like any other big business conglomerate, regardless of nationality - markets are to be regulated and governed for their benefit, not the benefit of consumers. CISPA is an excellent example of that philosophy.
Wow. That chart makes it look like every printer company is doing somthing bad.
I don't like how company drug test their employees. It seems like a good way to make them feel like they are treated like criminals. Plus some companies have someone watch you pee to make sure you didn't bring in fake pee... It just seems super dehumanizing.

Yes, that's what most people do. The government and the media blame it on capitalism, so most people just believe what's reported and go on with their day.
