Today it was reported that Netflix is now worth more than Comcast and Disney, with a market value of $153 billion. Disney was just below that at $152 billion. Netflix continues to grow despite have increased its subscription price last year.
One reason for its explosive growth is likely its government-connected lobbyists and employees, especially those with ties to the Obama administration. In fact, former President Barack Obama was recently in talks with Netflix about a possible show.
A Shadow Tie not included on this venn is Netflix's chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, who is also the husband of Nicole Avant, ambassador to the Bahamas during the Obama administration.
