@impressable thank you for making us aware by posting on our latest post. We did not know this prior to your message and we can see there's some 'war of words' on here.
To be thinking we would be having a relaxing Sunday morning was a mistake. Hahaha
Anyway, seriously, we think we've analysed all aspects of what is going on and can clear it up here, if we may.
Firstly, @waybeyondpadthai and @travelling-two met first time in real-life yesterday to discuss the Discord server as well as the misunderstanding and some other Steemit related things. We were planning things for the future.
Came back home and briefly got in touch with @ricko66 about exchanging banners to help each other out. All was going so well!
Secondly, @trinityandgrow is NOT @waybeyondpadthai's second account, but her boyfriend. Now, we cannot speak for what he has done nor why, but we can only ask him to REMOVE the comments he has FLAGGED (if that is possible, we don't know). @trinityandgrow, this is a plea to you to forget about the comments made in the last post as they were done on high emotion as @impressable and @siamcat did not read the full picture and thought their community was under threat. Yes, the comments did target Mo more than us, so maybe we aren't feeling as attacked as she might feel. To be honest, we will take some blame for a) not knowing there was a Thai community on Discord before and creating one and b) for the wording of our post, which is to do with the fact of reason (A). That's all sorted now.
Like we said above, we don't know why you flagged the comments, but we can vaguely guess that you did it to stand up for your girlfriend and have your say. Which is a nice gesture, but the storm had passed and we settled the issue. Now, it's brought up again. We were walking forwards not backwards.
We know after this incident and the comments made that some people won't get along and that's just the way it is. Yet, what we ask and what we know @ricko66 would ask is that this stops here. This question is for all of us: What is it actually worth? It causes more headaches that we don't want and need. @ricko66 is too busy dealing with in-fighting in the Morocco community that he has built up. We don't want to get involved in other people's business and sit on a computer all morning sorting this stuff out when we should be enjoying our weekend and the good things in life like cooking a roast chicken and all it's trimmings for a family gathering we are having today. These 'first world problems' that cause unnecessary stress and behaviour shouldn't evolve from comments like this, but real stress should be coming from what's happening in the 'real' world.
The saying is 'forgive and forget' and 'agree to disagree', we would like this to be applied here, but think it won't work. So, new approach: 'move on and forget'. Don't get in each other's business moving forward. It's like oil and vinegar, they don't mix, so why try. Just be the best version of what you can be in your own communities and just generally in life. We're here for a common cause and not to bring each other down. Damn, this message is long and should have ended by now, so it is.
