Cook with Us #8: Typical Venezuelan Food: Arepas.
Hello. My people from steemit. Here I leave my entry for the contest: Cook with Us # 8- Favorite Food from Your Country which is sponsored by: @cookwithus. The team of Cook with Us- @chefsteve, @pandamama and @offoodandart I hope you like it and be encouraged to do it.
Ingredient:
• 150 grams of corn flour.
• 50 ml of water.
•Salt to taste.
• Llanero cheese.
• Margarine.
Elaboration:
In a cup we place the flour with the, then add the water, knead until a soft dough and proceed to make balls of dough and then mold to make an arepa. Take the pan back and forth for 15 minutes. For the filling, we place margarine and grated llanero cheese. Ready the arepa. We proceed to taste. P.S. There are different fillings for the arepas, only left to the taste of the diner and the creativity that the person has.

Love the grill marks on those arepas @saimondonato! What else would you recommend as a filling? Are there any traditional vegetarian fillings you would use?
I tried to make these once with ordinary flour and @chefsteve told me I had to use corn flour. I will definitely try again sometime @saimondonato
