If you are someone who is judgmental and has a lot of thoughts to say on the frequency sexual assaults or rape cases, then probably a single thought of blaming the woman who is the victim pop out into your mind. That`s a normal though and I cannot blame you for that.
But look more to a bigger picture. Rape incidents take place not because of what the rapist sees, but because he sanctions his mind and let his intense desire to dominate his entire mind. So it is not the fault of a woman at all but the man who carries out the immoral act of abusing her body.
We cannot stop rape but we can do something to prevent it. As for women, you own the freedom to choose what you wear, what kind of food you eat and what speeches you prefer to use. However, freedom is not absolute as they say. In order to protect yourself from any kind of oppressive actions such as rape, you have to take cautions on yourself.
Think many times before you wear certain clothes that would reveal your body. Look around before eating something that would aggravate sexual desires. Or better eat it alone where no one sees it. Be careful of what speeches you use when talking to opposite sex.
