First off, I’d like to apologize for the unexpected hiatus. I wasn’t expecting my contest to abruptly vanish right after bringing it back. My personal life kinda screwed things up and my stubborn nature kept me from utilizing great art as story prompts. Well, that ends today!

Steemit has also been looking empty so now feels like a good time to bring my contest back.

Some of you may recognize this image from awhile back. I had the idea for a four part story image that I’ve had sitting on the shelf. I’m about 80% done with the art so until I can roll that out, I’ll happily recycle images that I’ve drawn within the past two months.

I really enjoyed drawing this image. I’ve been told many times that when I draw in this comic book style it reminds people of Aeon Flux by Peter Chung.

I decided to color this lady in my favorite colors, finishing with white highlights. The markings on the face were a bold happy accident.

And here is the finished image!
