Where the hell is she??
@mrprofessor hosts a weekly contest where you are expected to identify a location based on a photograph taken by himself. I have written about this before over here
Well, I tried this two years ago with a photograph of @fempower and the response was amazing ……… ……..not.
So here it is again….. A challenge for @mrprofessor … and no pirates here.
City and suburb !! Get the city you get a round of applause …. Get the city AND the suburb and you get 5 SBD !!!
A screenshot of my original posts ratings below ...and yes, of course you can scroll through my blog to two years ago and MAYBE the answer will be there…. But what satisfaction is there in that …. IF the answer is there.
God bless you. https://steemit.com/@biblegateway
Oh god, I have a feeling I'll not get my job done today trying to look for it. Be right back, already on it.
Oh no, oh no, oh no. I'm not gonna lie.
I've download the picture to check the meta data, no info there. Then I tryed reversing it into google, noup. Then I tried zooming to read the signs, no resolution. Searching Cape Town? No!
I succumbed to my own curiosity and went all the way down to 2 years of your blog and found it. Initially typing Tratesvere on google doesn't work, needs to be "monument tratesvere rome topper hat"
Giuseppe Gioachino Belli’s statue in Piazza Belli in Trastevere - Rome
Giuseppe Francesco Antonio Maria Gioachino Raimondo Belli (1791-1863) was an Italian poet, famous for his sonnets in Romanesco, the dialect of Rome.
That was fun! You don't need to reward me as I cheated, let's use it for another run maybe.
You see the amount of interest it generated then? Not much different this time {grin}....but thanks for humouring me and going into it. I will give you another one sometime ....
Let me show some interest 😉... After all, I lived in Trastevere for a few years! I could see it's Italy, even Rome, but wouldn't have known the statue; after all, Rome is full of these things..... Have you seen Montecasino in Jo'burg? Isn't it amazing how it resembles Italy?
Trastevere is just awesome. We loved it there alth we were only there for a short visit. Yes, I have seen Montecasino and yes it does resemble Italy .... just missing a lot of graffitti {smile}. Whereabouts are u now? Travelling, cooking or cycling?
All of the above; in Jozi now but going to Papua New Guinea on Monday
Ahhhh, a jetsetter !!! Well have a safe trip.... are you going to blog about your travels or is it work...? {meanders off to read @ultrabiker's blog}
thanks, am lucky enough to travel for work... PNG will definitely be a country to write about!
Gimme gimme! But it didn't get attention because the poor competitors didn't stand a chance to my lightning speed. hahahaha
