Steemmonsters is the first kind of asset based game on the Steem blockchain. The way that @yabapmatt had coded it sets a good example for future STEEM blockchain game development. We already have someone entering a Steem blockchain based chess game entered our game jam. The possibilities are endless. Steemmonsters is one of the best things that have happened in this ecosystem, not just because of the publicity that it gathered but also the technical aspects of it.
