Hey guys we've had a terrific response to the SAR logo contest and I am overwhelmed with how great they all look. Some people have messaged me on Discord saying a couple of days was really short and could I please extend it. I thought about this for a while and feel this should be ok as time shouldn't affect quality and what we're looking for as a strong logo to help promote this group. I'm going to increase the deadline for a week, so you can see the new deadline below. I hope you all understand as I wish to give everyone the best opportunity to be able to submit a design and many people have lives outside of Steemit (believe it or not 😄).

Deadline - Friday 26th January 2018, 8pm AEST

Help re-design a super cool Steemit Art Register logo and win some SBD!

The new logo should have the following ideals:

Must look "somewhat similar" to the current Steemit logo below
Can use any colours, just be bright, simple and effective
Preferably look like an art palette or something similar to express art

1st place - 5 SBD + 3 x promotions on your artwork
2nd place - 3 SBD
3rd place - 1 SBD

Hey @spaceginger. So I had this post open for about a week, and I wanted to make a design. I finally had some time and came up with something, hopefully it's not too late yet. I might make a post for it later, but for now I am just posting the images in here.
Variant 1 - Colour blobs

Variant 1 - Teal Blobs and brush lines

I can also mix and match these if you like some element more than others. Wish I could spend more time on it, but this is what I came up with in my current limited time. :)

I want to try out this design, it's very similar but it just kinda look like the upvote and the current steemit logo, If they are together they kinda resemble an eye
