I like the Thai gold myself, i dont have as much as the picture above, haha. I never seen a gold bar when i was living there. Lots and lots of gold shops with walls of chains :)
Mene is a rip off compared to Asian gold, charging $75 for shipping on items worth a few hundred, lol. I'll stick to buying thai chains and rings.
I get you and kinda feel the same, however you don’t know with stuff like MENE, if they are popular these pieces will gain value as antiques also.

Thats right! Some of the original Mene designs are already retired and there is a chance they will become collectible items as Mene grows and becomes a household name. As for the shipping, there are abundant opportunities to offset the cost with the generous referral program as Steemians do all the time. Thank you for your interest @britcoins!
