If I could go back to the past I would like to meet my grandfather, the father of my mother. He was an artist of fire and a painter. During the Second World War in Italy, their country of origin, men were recruited to go to war. My grandfather, was responsible for two families his own, wife and children, and his mother. He was compulsorily recruited and separated from his family to work in a weapons factory. He was an expert in metal working. He died in 1994, the same year my daughter was born.
