SoS : Contests roundup @ 21 February 2019 [Spread the news & win GAME tokens]
There are many, many contests, challenges and competitions scattered across the Steem platform.
Alas many people don't get to see them and have a chance to enter.
So I thought I would bring them together into one post to maximize their visibility.
I have done a quick initial compilation and found over 30 contests here but I am sure there are many more.
Please let me know of any other current contests you know of. There will be a small GAME token bounty for each new contest.
If you are running a contest currently and I have missed it, please accept my apologies. Send me the details and I will add it in.
I am amazed at the variety and range of contests being run on the Steem platform. There really is something for everyone - art, crafts, music, food, pets, photography, travel...
And there is so much to win. It really is a great way to boost your rewards on the platform.
As I mentioned in a recent post all these contests, along with the growing range of gaming apps, could present a unique marketing opportunity for Steem...
Win GAME Tokens - tell the world about our great range of contests
We should be shouting this from the rooftops. Painting the town with it. Spreading it across our social media outlets.
So to encourage people to do this I am looking for people to share this post, or the posts of any of the contests listed, on their social media outlets.
Then if you post a screenshot and brief details of what you shared, where you did it and to how many people you will be awarded some GAME tokens.
Resteems of this post will also win a few as well.

Hey @pennsif, thank you for sharing my contest! Much appreciated.
The contest is biweekly usually, unless stated. The post payout is split but when I have extra to give I do. It tends to vary at the moment but I try to give out at least 2.5 steem to the 1rst place. Sometimes people give donations which go towards the prize pool as well.
Agreed. I think the gaming aspect of steem could be a major pull for a lot of people. The ability to make some kind of money for playing games is something I would have loved when I was younger and played games for fun and back then you only made money if you somehow managed to be one of the best players in the world and got sponsored, now just about anyone can make some money by playing and I think that's revolutionary.
Also I wanted to mention a contest I run on here called the @ifc or the "Information Finding Championship" if you'd like to add it to your future lists? It's sort of like the UFC except instead of people battling physically they compete mentally to solve puzzles or bring back information on specific subjects, sometimes we have other rounds as well like photography scavenger hunts and we sort of are only limited by our own imagination in the kinds of quests we send people out on.
Thanks for doing what you do and hopefully in the future we can get the gaming aspect of steem more well known and help to bring more people here because of such! Cheers.
