I interrupt this pun contest with breaking news! Steemit now has its first token! The free initial distribution in underway right now until Sept. 11th. The token is called "Pocket" and you have to go to busy.org (your Steemit login works here too) and reblog the dude's post in order to get the free million tokens. I promise, you don't want to SIT this one out. Once we all have our tokens we can use them to tip our punmaster. As soon as the tokens rise in value Brendan can redeem them to raise funds to produce his own Hollywood blockbuster movie and I'm sure he will save roles for all of us!

You raise a very valid issue, Brendan. Security concerns should not take a backseat when exciting opportunities like the Pocket token program arise. Everyone is encouraged to exercise good due diligence in regards to their decision to either participate or sit this one out. That being said I must add that the Nigerian prince that set this whole thing up, @biophil, looks totally legit. The best way to find out more about this program is to read his posts and note the comments and/or participation by several notable Steemit whales. Can I personally vouch for this program? No, I am just a inconsequential n00b here and no way near the seat of power on this platform or very tech savy. However, my gut feeling is that you ottoman.

Ok, little buddy, no worries, I am going to walk you through this. Just navigate to my profile and just reblog the most recent post that I have reblogged there. Alternatively, you can find the dude (in this case, not actually a Lebowski) who everyone in Lagos knows as good ole "Biophil" and reblog the same post from there. If you type the word "confirm" in all lowercase letters in the comment field a bot from Mr. Biophil's evil empire will promptly tell you that you have successfully claimed your Pocket tokens. For this notification they will charge you one Pocket token. Ok, now time for a pun, sorry I can't do it, after all this ICO talk and explanation I'm exhausted, I feel like I just took the SATs.

Awesome, I could not figure out from your feed if you actually reblogged it or just resteemed it. Since the initial 7 days have past you will get zilch if you resteem it at this point (I know that you knew this but I included it here for the benefit of the greater Pun Day Monday community). Did you pay the bot ransom fee of one Pocket token for the confirmation?
I did. Busy.org seems like it's a replica of Steemit, but with a better UI... is that true?
