Every month since April, @simplymike organizes a monthly challenge she calls:
SteemIt Community Garden Journal Challenge
The idea behind the challenge is that gardeners from all over SteemIt post an update about what is going on in their garden during that month. This post should be filled with pictures, so other gardeners can get a good idea (and you get to show off your garden, farm or balcony).
You don't need to have a huge garden to join this challenge; some pictures of your flower bed, your succulents or that one single balcony plant - together with a short story about it - would do just fine.

Well the windowboxes outside my apartment aren't going produce anything edible ever as I live the very centre of the city and it leaves a layer of grime on everything. fortunately I have an alotment on the edge of the city where I grow funky things.
