It's been a while since I last hosted a contest and to be honest I think it might just be the perfect timing to do so. Now in case you wonder why is it the perfect timing, you can check @themarkymark's post where he describes with the simplest possible and funny way why our post payouts keep going up even though steem's but also sbd's price are on the same levels.
And if you still have questions after you read his post, you may well read @meno's post that is a little more detailed on why is this happening.
You may have also noticed that your vote has more weight lately. HF 20 wasn't that bad after all huh? But we are not here to have a technical analysis, but to have some fun and at the same time be helpful and encouraging others steemians through our votes and comments.
So the idea is:
To spread love (votes) to your favorite bloggers. They may be your friends, or they might be people you've never interacted before. Needless to say that it has to be original content and not plagiarized...right? Right! And this might actually be a good opportunity to start visiting new tags and discover hidden gems that worth your attention.
So the one who has spread more votes until this post pays out will be the winner.
And just to give you an idea on how you will track your votes, there is an amazing tool Steemworld.org where you can find a ton of stats. Just replace my name with yours and you'll have all the data of your account.
So a screenshot of your stats on the comment section would be just fine.
Bonus points for those that don't have a high % of self voting.
As for the rules??? There are no rules...you don't have to upvote nor to resteem the post. Just go out there and show your support to others.

Hi, @mindtrap. I had found you through that post where you were doing small SP delegations to help plankton join Steem-ua, but I only found your post days after it had paid out, and I sadly missed the opportunity... anyway!
For this contest, do I have to post a screenshot for my stats now, and then another one near the post's payout? Is this it?

Ah, okay. Then, I'll try to upvote some more first. I'm still a bit out of it after all this HF20 RC craziness. I still get nervous seeing my RC drop at least 2% at each thing I do. Let's see if I can get a bit more used to it this week...

My question is what if someone is in a curation trail that gives votes with 0,5% 1% and generally upvotes like that? I think these votes count in the app too right? :P
It doesn't matter if someone is in curation trail. Even better actually. BUT, you see that first number right here?
That 20.4? Well...this this the average of your votes. So if this number is really low it means you spread dust votes around...;)

Planktons certainly do not like the fact that they are e.g. 0 comments have, mindtrap. Planktons with 0 comments could not join you.
Well @suntree I can't fix all the problems around....
Im first, im sure i cant win but i think i vote pretty well even with that small vote i had.
This isn't just about the 5 steem my friend. It is more a way to push people not to save their VP but to use it.
Now that many spammers are gone due to HF20 the reward pool has made a correction and rewards you almost 30% more. Now it's the time to post more and vote more.
I know it is hard for people that aren't above 500 SP since many don't have the slider to adjust their VP (even though if you use busy.org anyone can use the slider) but your stats are looking fine!
