ROUND 6

Before we get to the final a big congratulations to @beat-the-bookies, @blessing2002 and @georgechucks for correctly predicting that Croatia v England would be 1-1 after 90 minutes. As nobody got any of the other predictions correct this weeks prize is shared and you all earn an entry into the final! SBD will be transferred when I receive the payout in my wallet.

A special mention must go to @beat-the-bookies for winning this competition for the last three rounds... as such he gets to make three predictions for the final, everybody else gets to make one prediction each.

So here we are at last, the World Cup Final and the GRAND FINAL of my Prediction Contest.

nb. the predictions you need to provide have changed slightly from the first six rounds so read the following extra carefully!

nb. match predictions are for the score after 90 minutes, extra-time DOES NOT COUNT.

If you are one of the lucky six then simply reply to this post with your predictions for the game before 3pm (British Summer Time) on Sunday 15th July 2018. Any predictions received after this time will NOT be entered into the competition.

FRANCE v CROATIA - Sunday15th July, KO 4pm BST.

PLEASE NOTE - FRANCE ARE THE HOME TEAM SO PLEASE PUT THEIR SCORE FIRST!!!

For your chance to win you just need to provide the following predictions for the above game:

1. Winner of World Cup.
2. Correct Score.
3. Minute of first goal.
4. Scorer of first goal.
5. Total number of yellow cards.
6. Total number of shots in the game.
7. Total number of shots on target in the game.

The predictions are listed in order of importance, therefore if only one person gets the correct score then they will be judged the winner regardless of how they do on the other predictions. However, if two (or more) entries guess the correct score then the minute of the first goal will come into play. If two or more entries are still tied then it will be first scorer, number of yellow cards, number of shots and finally the number of shots on target in the match.

In the event that nobody wins after all predictions have been counted then the winner will be whoever is closest to the time of the first goal. Price is right rules will apply if two people are the same amount away from the correct time... so you can not be one minute over!! This all seems overly confusing as I type but hopefully it won't come to this!!!

Prizes will be paid when the rewards from this post are paid out. All statistics for deciding the winner will be taken from the BBC website.
