Enjoy!
@maparari was enjoying a quiet afternoon at home when she heard a "Ding" on her cell phone. It was a message from her good friend @bananafish. In it, he invited her to go to the movies to see the premiere of a very famous movie. An invitation that she gladly decided to accept.
There was a stinking smell of soaking combined with the sweat of the boys' armpits, which grouped together like sardines formed not only a long but also thick row that surpassed 50 meters. All making a hullabaloo, disguised in the colorful outfits of their favorite characters.
@maparari decided to cover her nose to avoid throwing the contents of her stomach.
@bananafish greeted excitedly near the ticket booth waving a fluorescent plastic tube in his hand.
"You've arrived just in time, they're gonna sell the tickets soon enough," cried @bananafish.
@maparari just nodded trying to disguise her gagging.
"Can you buy the popcorn and sodas?" asked @bananafish.
@maparari affirmed with her thumb up and shot into the candy area, away from the nauseating fans' smell.
Fortunately, there were no fanatics in this area, so there was a pleasant smell of disinfectant. Musical background with the fashionable songs that @maparari liked made her quickly forget the war that the fans formed at the box office. Soon the smell of freshly made popcorn flooded her lungs and made her mouth water as she waited her turn to be attended to. She was interested in buying some chocolates as well.
Meanwhile, the fans lucky enough to buy their tickets pushed their way into the movie theater looking for the best seats. @bananafish was among the first to select a pair of seats at the top center of the hall. The excitement and agitation at the entrance had made him forget her friend. The film began prematurely, everyone remained silent as their characters came to life once again on the big screen.
When she finally finished buying supplies, @maparari sent a message to @bananafish's cell phone.
The strong ring of the banana phone came accompanied by a series of annoying Shhhh from all fans. In the rush to respond, he indicated room 6 instead of 9 and turned off his cell phone before the looks of repression from the public around him.
@maparari received the message. Upon entering room 6, her eyes took a few seconds to get used to the darkness. She hadn't paid attention to what was happening on the screen, she was glad that the air conditioning in the room had dissipated a bit the fanatics' bad odor.
"Banana! Where are you?" She shouted.
At first, she didn't get an answer, her second attempt was repressed by a series of "Shhh" in general, in a third attempt, the fanatics made a fuss and began to throw popcorn and candies at her. She ran away.
Outside the room, she began to clean her clothes of food leftovers, when she noticed that the opposite room, 9th, was also broadcasting the same film.
She entered this one and again claimed
"Banana! Where are you?" She whispered as low as possible, but the fanatics had noticed the disturbance in the adjoining room, so they immediately protested at the interruption.
@maparari gave a few curses back.
The staff of the cinema made their presence to the hubbub and forced to take out to a furious @maparari for not having any ticket.
The fans cheered in unison to see that justice had been served.
@bananafish had hidden in his seat slowly looking both ways, so as not to attract the attention of angry fans.
Any resemblance to reality is pure coincidence ;)
What a date! I suppose we can't blame the bananafish, under that thick skin, his head is full of sweet delicious bananamush, no wonder he forgets things! Looks like the bananafish will have to come back to your window with a boombox and play you music til you agree to another date... or call the cops haha
Love the light-hearted humour and the setting, just the occasion for the bananafish to blend in, all those costumes providing the perfect camouflage!
Bananafish is a very good friend!
Thank you very much for your beautiful and funny words :)
(I will be saying this on all entries, these comments were remade in a quickie after realizing I had not only left them on a different machine but that I didn't import them. So sorry if this is not the usual you expect of me :c ) addendum: sorry, no gender fluidity or misused pronouns. But for purposes of documentation:
