Crowd Machine: Blockchain Agnostic Cloud Computing

adapted from the Crowd Machine whitepaper
The Crowd Machine platform is made up of a computer, app studio, and sharing network. It aims to replace existing cloud computing services by utilizing the transparent and efficient aspects of the blockchain.
Crowd machine has the potential to disrupt industries to the tune of trillions of dollars.
With one-click, the advanced distributed computer can deploy a decentralized app. This requires no coding, is inexpensive to host, has its own marketplace, and benefits both authors who create and processors with spare device power.
A New Approach: Blockchain Agnostic Cloud Computing
Crowd Machine focuses on blockchain agnosticism. It attempts to bring stability to a volatile blockchain industry. Cross-platform applications can connect the best aspects of different blockchains.
Marketed and designed for startups and enterprises, the Crowd Machine platform deploys on everyday devices. It reaches markets that conventional platforms cannot. Unlike current centralized options, it can instantly take advantage of any device, anywhere in the world.
Integration with independent blockchains and smart contracts extend its functionality. This would maximize the blockchains of the cryptocurrency industry by connecting them. Innovative applications, like sidechains, can transcend limitations by linking to a symbiotic host chain. The result is a facilitated decentralized app builder that entices more developers.

Crowd Computer
Latent computer resources become useful with the Crowd Computer. All device types can add to the processing power through activity contribution nodes (ACN). Monetization follows an efficient blueprint by letting apps competed for minimum cost ACNs. Crowd virtual machines (CVM) execute the apps.
Crowd App Studio
The Crowd App Studio interface can build blockchain agnostic off-chain apps without code. It dynamically engages both coders and non-coders through a decentralized app builder. The drag-and-drop logic map feature is accompanied by quicker development times that exceed current standards by 45x. The interface can be customized for users ‘look and feel’.
Crowd Share
The Crowd Share repository is a code library that anyone can access. Source codes are reusable and grow with the community. The objectives are to aid sharing, facilitate version control, and monetize work. Users with minimal coding experience can expect to easily create micro-apps. The vision is to develop a library that merges the features of GitHub with an appstore.

Impact to Industry
The Problem
New apps development is exceeding new downloads. Only 49% of smartphone users will download an app within a given month. Centralization seems to be a factor. Of the top 10 apps, eight are owned by Google and Facebook. Here is where decentralized apps can bring more developers to the idea pool.
Building apps are expensive and risky ventures. A cross-platform, full-featured app via conventional means costs $140,000 over a four-month period. In every 10,000 apps, only one is profitable. 10,000 people using a new app costs about $40,000. These costs have people looking for options.
Conventional Platforms
Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) has traditionally used third parties for cloud computing solutions. Much, if not all, of the services are trusted to permission based providers. Amazon’s AWS, Microsoft’s Azure, IBM cloud, and Google are the four main providers of infrastructure-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service (PaaS). It is a highly competitive space that battles over market share with thin margins. Volume is emphasized over quality. Compatibility issues would be a reason why Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure compete for global and regional dominance.
adapted from the Crowd Machine whitepaper
Crowd Machine compared to Developmental PWAs
Google’s progressive web apps (PWA) promise a better option to native apps dominated by Android & IOS operating systems. It barely requires a download and does away with wait times. However, the performance limitations of PWAs have been criticized. While the technology is still in development, it caught the attention of top companies like Apple.
PWAs may solve cost issues, but they lack key blockchain advantages. For instance, Google would act as an intermediary for cumbersome data distribution solutions. Crowd Machine’s decentralized platform and 45x development speed offer a better advantage for distribution, quality, and costs. There is another surprising advantage. It is better able to serve more regions than the behemoths like Google.
Scenario: An Agnostic Sidechain
Crowd Machine’s networking integration facilitates side chains that are better than current native apps and PWAs. Apps, like PWAs, are not necessarily enterprises, while blockchains are. Side chains can be dependent enterprises. For example, a Facebook app allows a user to interface with their timeline and respond to friends without visiting the Facebook website. A PWA would provide a similar feature, for example, on a company website.
A sidechain could depend on a social media blockchain (i.e. Steemit) for main data and then populate remote data through an agnostic sidechain. The Crowd Machine network integration solution has the advantage of populating multiple social media blockchains. It could be similar to posting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit all at the same time from a single post. The way information is recorded and populated is another advantage. It offers an option to the issues facing social media giants today in regards to privacy.
An Efficient Solution to Revolutionizes Business
By simultaneously targeting software developers and cloud computing, Crowd Machine aims to bring blockchain applications mainstream. It is confident that it offers a more efficient and better option through decentralization than modern conventional platforms.
Completely decentralized blockchains reduce transaction costs, improves accounting, and makes the system transparent. Blockchain can be used to revolutionize business. Supply chain management benefits from track and trace. Software development and operations are more secure. Ecosystems become more efficient. Improvements are made to public key infrastructures (PKI), or handshakes, for certificate transactions. Advancements that combat malware and ransomware add further security. The impacts are boundless.
Moving toward a Future of Exploding Innovation
The Crowd Machine platform effectively combines cloud computing with development. The online world grows more complex with each passing day. Agnostic blockchain integration is, or at least soon will be, in dire need. Startups, in particular, stand to benefit from the savings to time management and cross-platform integration.
Recruiting non-programmers to develop their ideas offers enourmous potential. The transparent and efficient portal that monetize small pieces of code has the makings of a flourishing ecosystem. It means increased income for developers and more diverse apps for users.
The Crowd Machine Platform unveils its 45x codeless DApps on April 28th.

I've read few posts about Crowd Machine and yours surely is one of the better ones out there.
Im not sure if I understood it right. Correct me please if Im wrong.
Crowd Machine will provide developers with some sort of "templates" that can help create decentralized apps on blockchain?
Potential to use this tool in the future looks very promissing.
I know that you're taking part of @originalworks contest. Good luck to you :)
Obviously UPVOTED ! :)
Cheers, Piotr
Thanks. Yes on the developer support. Its actually a 'drag and drop' to encourage non-developers. However, devs can add underlying source code. Here is where it gets interesting. CM looks to monetizes small pieces of codes for devs. It wants to grow its library of code to pass on to the 'drag and drop' feature. Crypto is exciting stuff. I am glad to be a part of the competition and hope to make this a full-time income.
BTW. If you have a passion outside of crypto, check out Curie. They are looking to keep serious mined, high-quality content providers on this platform.
Also, did you hear of Hive Mind coming to Steemit soon?
Thank you for your kind reply. I really appreciate.
I really found your post about Crowd Machine very informative and this project is still blowing my mind. I've read number of posts related to that crypto and Im just wondering how possibly would it affect job market. Wont be there thousands developers and programmers losing their jobs ?
Or is demand huge enough to provide jobs for all those people. What do you think?
Are you personally a programmer/developer ? And did you try by any chance their beta version? I tried to register myself here: s://www.crowdmachine.com/beta-program/
But this program is temporaty closed and in order to receive news about future beta programs I need to subscribe. The problem I faced is that each time whenever I try to do that their website is crashing with some errors being displayed.
You mind checking if you have similar problem?
Keep up with good content. Will be following you closely. Hope to read more interesting posts about blockchain technology projects :) or crypto in general.
I will have a look at Curie. I've heard something about it already. The thing is that my profile is all about crypto/blockchain and AI. And you mentioned that I should check Curie if I have passions outside crypto. Why? They dont support this subjecs?
"Also, did you hear of Hive Mind coming to Steemit soon?"
Never did. You mind telling me something about it? please :)
Yours
Piotr
Cheers,
Piotr
Programming jobs shift. Sure the 'drag and drop' would retire some aspects. The small code snipets are meant to keep programming innovative. AI is more likely to lose programmers jobs. Coding is not programming. I mostly coded some web design. Studied for a year with W3 schools while completing my Masters in Aeronatics.
Unable to access CM beta- read "closed", though was able to sign up for their beta 2.
Curie is interested in non-politics, non-religious, and non-steemit/crypto.
Hive Mind

Thank you.
May I ask you a question? Why did you redirect me to post about Hive Mind ?
is it related to CM?
No. check it out. It is the coming changes to Steemit. There will be a core change that we won't notice much of.. Maybe if you use Steemd a lot you will notice changes. But version 1.5 will bring a lot of changes to the community like organizing posts and dif types of comments and more.
Thank you for your kind reply and at the same time sorry that it took me so long to write back.
I will definetly look up into it. You're the man! :)
ps.
I would love to stay in touch with you a little bit closer as I value your knowledge and your input. And we could support each other on Steemit.
I wish there would be more advanced notification system developed by steemit.
Plus you're very responsive which is absolutely great and steemit community surely will benefit by having you here.
Perhaps you could send me short email to [email protected]
No pressure of course,
Cheers, Piotr
I also just noticed that you're following over 9k people? damn. so many?
Followed a bunch of people off of steemit dev follow lists. Same with influencers. Just a networking attempt. Also probably found me a lot of posts that would not have made my feed otherwise.
your feed must be super packed :)
Grew up delivering papers in metro NJYC. Read papers side by side in the 80s rush-hour traffic to school before football. Love newswires and those little financial briefings on the side columns of papers. Its never enough. We just run out of time. Really sad when the wire comes to an end and must wait for a breaking news.
Definitely. Let's stay in touch and network. Sent you mail.
yeah! :D

I just checked @originalworks contest results. Congratz!
I hope you dont mind my comment again, but I have some more questions related to Crowd Machine. I tried very hard to find answers and I read quite a number of posts related to this issue but I failed.
Most of all: what advantage Crowd Machine has over their direct competition (https://dadi.cloud)? DADI is already listed on coinmarketcap.com for quite some time (and available on KuCoin).
I dont know much about DADI. I just found out about this project few hours ago and I would like to hear your view.
You mind telling me how in your opinion CM can affect current market and existing platform?
Will ETH, Cardano, Neo, EOS, Lisk, iota, waves or qtum benefit or is Crowd Machine a threat to them? Hope you can share your view on this issue. I would appreciate a lot.
ps. Im super passionate about crypto and blockchain technology and it seem that we're both sharing this passion. I will be following you closely.
Please continue with great content. Steemit need people like you more than anything else (I mean solid content creators).
Cheers, Piotr
I am not very familiar with DADI. However, after a cursory read of the whitepaper, I would say that DADI is more traditional thinking than CM. Consider how DADI references GRPC. It discusses consolidating programming languages, rather than, connecting different blockchains. I would hesitate to say that DADI is more programmer friendly. CM details its plans to monetize code snippets with great significance. This is another way that CM demonstrates an innovative mindset. Looks like there is room for both, but I wonder if DADI will be overly reliant upon Ethereum in comparison to what CM offers.
CM would benefit cryptocoins and coerce them to promote what they do best. This is more of an opinion, but look at the blockchain migration/agnostic support on page 28 of the whitepaper.
Again, you are most welcome. I wish to network with people who share our passion for crypto. It is an exciting time. Hope that I can get some consistent weekly resteems and better yet, a group that works toward a goal, even if merely through comments. Thanks for the insights. I learn a lot from interacting with you and consider it valuable time. Hopefully, I can make Steemit and crypto a full time thing.
BTW check out Crypto Epire I think I can spare 10 SP now. If you jon Crypto Empire, I would appreciate a mention to @SpiritualMax.
Hi there. Good morning and thank you for your kind reply
My excitement about Crowd Machine is growing steadily for past few days. More I learn more I like this project. This is one of very few ICO's that seem to really serve some purpose.
Would you perhaps know when another beta testing version will be available? And could you please see if you're capable of adding your email to Crowd Machine subscribtion list? I tried few times and I'm always receiving some errors.
ps.
Are you planning to write for @oryginalworks this weekend? If you do then I wish you good luck. You can always send me a link either to my email: [email protected] or write it in your comment/reply. I would love to read it and support you.
Have a great sunday :)
Cheers, Piotr
Unsure about CM beta. Did subscribe to their newsletter. Plan on entering this weekend. Thanks for the offer and support. Its going to be a busy weekend. Will piece it together. Will you be entering?
I've tried to subscribe few times and each time it redirect me to page that doesnt exist/doesnt open.
But I may wait for next version, because in 3 weeks Im flying back to Poland to visit my family (which happens only once a year) so that might not be right time.
Please update me once you will learn anything interesting. You know my email :) Keep in touch mate
can try contacting the marketing department in the image above
Have yet to get a newsletter. Hope I remember when I do. No mention of when the next one is being sent.
thx again :)
I checked @cryptoempire and Im confused. It it some sort of gaming profile? I also dont understand what do you mean by saying "I can spare 10SP now".
Also since it's not the first time we're engaging ... what would you say about following each other and trying to support each other too?
Perhaps you could drop me a short message at my email (previous post)
I would love to be able to keep in touch with you
Notification system here sucks. And lack of PM is disturbing
I delegated 10SP. Game detail are below:
https://steemit.com/steemit/@cryptoempire/build-your-empire-a-different-bot-is-born
Its a fun way to network and give character to a bot. Probably a bit like SteemJet, an ongoing brainstorm project. We are not sure what it will turn into but enjoy the ride.
May I ask you a question? I actually never delegated because Im trying to use upvotes to reward those that I really follow and I engage with. From my understanding I need kind of decide if i want make some profit on delegating steem power to bots (but then i cannot upvote anyone myslef) or if my goal is to be part of growing community. Do I see it right?
You cannot upvote on the SP you delegate. However, you can delegate any amount you want. Probably easiest through: https://steembottracker.com/delegation.html
I use SmartSteem https://smartsteem.com/
I have it set to vote only at 100%
When I vote myself. it just takes longer before ans SS vote is automated.
BTW, @cryptoempire has been cancelled. The game may go on and there may be delegation in some other form down the road. ATM the devs are reevaluating their plan.
https://steemit.com/steemit/@spiritualmax/i-have-some-good-news-and-some-bad-news
Thx buddy for great and so rich reply.
Also. I wonder if PM will be instituted with Hive mind.
A lot of people use Discord in place of PM. The notifications are good there. I do not use it a lot but am signed up to maybe 20 channels.
I rather like using gmail. I found it easier that way. To reply 30-50 emails a day is not so hard. But discord channel is right away turning into chat. And chatting with 10 people can take entire day from your schedulle. :)
