Chimaera - The All-in-One Swiss Knife for Game Developers
Developing a game is a difficult process because it takes a lot of time and resources. A lot of games are not hitting the marketplace. This is why Chimaera, the new gaming ecosystem based on the blockchain, helps developers.

It is a one-stop solution with the “Swiss Knife” tool, that will help game developers.
1. Development Libraries & Supports
Developing a game is a hard thing to do. Coding of game features, code optimization for graphic-card engines, screen compatibilities, the fluidity of gameplay, and many others factors are making game development a challenging process. These problems are solved by Chimaera by providing two (2) main components, the Chimaera Developer Hub and Chimaera Game Studio
Chimaera Developer Hub is the one-stop place for developers. It provides SDK/API, documentation, sample codes, pre-built libraries, and utilities. Developers could easily and automatically generate Unity Assets and Unreal Blueprints.
Chimaera Game Studio could be considered as a component one layer above the Chimaera Developer Hub. With Chimaera Game Studio, developers could showcase and share tools or even complete games. Polished tools, kits, game templates, and prototypes are all available here for the developers to share (showcase and use).
2. Server & Administration Costs
It is no secret that games are resource hungry software. The time, cost, and manpower to maintain servers for one game are gigantic and most of the time will determine if a game could be launched or not. This will be easily solved because Chimaera would be a blockchain based platform. On the blockchain, the games would be put on decentralized servers with 24x7 availability and minimum maintenance. It’s basically a plug and play system for developers to deploy the games.
3. Scalability
Furthermore, Chimaera has put several proven blockchain technologies to help the scalability of famous games. The implementations of Decentralized Autonomous Universes, Atomic Transactions, Game Channels, and Ephemeral Timestamps enable each game inside Chimaera to have its own “side chain” and grow in scalability without any disturbance.
4. Marketing
Without any marketing, a game will fail miserably in term of the return on investment. Searching for targeted paid advertising and maintaining social media are huge tasks. This is why all the new or independent developers have a high failure rate in marketing the games. Chimaera is solving this by providing Chimaera Community Hub. It is the one-stop shops for gamers to find games and friends to play along. Developers could use the Chimaera Community Hub to list the new game and engage players in an already formed community. It’s targeted marketing at its best.
5. Monetization
At the end of the day, most developers are creating games for the monetary reason. In addition to being on the blockchain and having its own CHI token, Chimaera is launching the Chimaera Trading Platform and payment gateway on Chimaera Community Hub. Instead of creating own monetary system, developers could use and utilize the readily available CHI tokens that are available platform wise. This will reduce any resistance because gamers are already used to use the CHI tokens for other games.
