Dexter was a serial killer who was raised by his step-father. Father was a detective at Miami metro police station and he knew what dexter was. So he trained him on how to kill perfectly and to only kill those who slip from the hand of justice. Dexter got recruited as blood spatter analyst in the same station in which his father used to be.
Now you have to watch it.. i can vouch that it is awesome. During the entire season, dexter narrates lines when he is not speaking like he is talking to himself.. That is really awesome i tell ya..

LOL! Well, my first grade mirrored his, down to spending most of it in bed out of school due to chronic strep until a surgery was necessary...
