Frankefood 🧟♂🍅: I like this Word because I think It's funny. This word is used informally to refer to genetically modified (or transgenic) foods. These are foods altered by scientific means and that did not grow in nature.
Frankenfood is a combination of the words Frankenstein and food 😄. (Frankenstein is a story about a scientist, Dr. Frankenstein, who creates a monster in his laboratory).

This word IS funny. It makes me think of different things... not necessarily how it started... But like in grade school, on 'meatloaf' day... I always thought of that as Frankenfood.
