Garden Gnome Meme Contest - 5 SBI Giveaway

If you're going to be different than all the rest, you've got to go out of your way to be out of the way. If you know what I mean. If you don't know what I mean, let me elaborate.

Let's say you're going to a destination. We'll call it Point B. If you start at Point A (and who doesn't?), there could be a million different ways to get to Point B. You could take the straight, direct path, but that might require going through a few obstacles. You know, like Trump's wall, or that orange thing he wears on his head.

On the other hand, you might take the circuitous route through the schoolyard, over the creek, between two houses, around the big statue of Godzilla in the town square, behind the convenience store your mother told you to stay way from when you were 11 years old, under the overpass you contemplated jumping off of when you were 32, and near Donut Palace where you stop off for an extra large cup of pistachio mocha before strolling across that old wooden bridge that should have fallen apart years ago.

Now, ordinary folks would take a poll and see which path is the popular path. Not us garden gnomes. Nope. What we like to do is pave our own path. With a carmide saw blade attached to Fenrir's red-tipped nose.

What we're getting to is this: We're sponsoring a contest. But it ain't no ordinary contest. This is a whopper of a doozy fun-filled contest that will have its own reward just for entering. Yep, you'll get a warm wet willy.

And if you win, you'll get 5 Steem Basic Income shares. But if you don't win, you'll still be a winner in our book just for entering because you chose to take the path that others won't. And for doing that, we'll let you nuzzle up next to our fuzzballs.

Here's what you have to do:

• Create a garden gnome meme - Your meme has to showcase at least one image of a garden gnome. It can be an image you created or something you used with the proper permission. (Stealing another individual's intellectual property will get you disqualified.)
• Add a catchy phrase - Whatever you think will get people laughing, crying, cursing, or saying WTF?
• Include something that leads people back to us - In other words, mention @gardengnomepubs on the meme
• Post the meme to your Steemit blog - When you do this, write something up about Garden Gnome Publications, some reason why you're following us or why someone else should follow us. Tell people what you like about us, or what you don't. And link to us.
• Tag the post #gardengnomepubs - Yep, just tag us. And hashtag us.
• Post a link to your meme in the comments below - Come back here and let us know where to find your meme.
• Deadline: Midnight EST, last day of March 2019.
