Hi Dave I haven’t had much response to my latest post offering a 2sbd prize. If there’s anything you can do to attract some attention to it for the greater good then that would be a big help not just for me but also the person who wins. Some of the research that I've done points towards making comments on high valued Steemians blogs - but they have to be quality statements that contribute to the blog and not just a spammy "great article" or "thanks for sharing" - when you start to engage with others ,and really start be be yourself and show interest in things that really interest you and you do it with constancy then people will want to see more of what you have to offer and start gravitating towards your blog - eventually those high valued votes will start to come.
However , I also believe that it has to do with content - whales read different articles than minnows - from what I've noticed - all the more technical articles seem to get the most votes and payouts - but instructional posts also do really well - so if you know about something that you can share with others especially if it is about Steemit - then you can be sitting on a pot of gold.
I haven't quite attracted high value ( monetarily) votes yet, however , I have connected to some very great people who's votes are valuable for reasons other than financial and that makes the experience all the more rewarding,
