Week 8/6/2019 - Win a Membership in Steem Basic Income - Tell us About a Favorite Freewrite
A Favorite Freewrite
Every Tuesday, you have a chance to win a membership to Steem Basic Income, SBI, at the Freewrite House.
Try to win one, my friends. An everlasting vote on your posts is nothing to sneeze at.
We want to make it super easy for you. Your task is to tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrites of others you have read in the last couple of days you really liked. Yup, not your own!!
The comment must be at least 50 words long - no upper limit 🤪
See the rules below for details.
In an ideal world, you also give that person a nice upvote - but we are not going to check on that.
To be entered into the drawing, go to the Daily Prompt post by @mariannewest. We are doing our best to resteem them to the Freewrite house profile.
Read as many Freewrites as you can. Then tell us about a freewrite you really liked and why.
Choose from the last couple of days if possible so others can go, visit, and, inspired by your description, leave a vote.
Win, Win, Win!!!

I have two favorites this week from the "contour" prompt.
I like the way @darthgexe is creating a story relating to splinterlands. A lot of double dipping in this fun and exciting tale. I do not play the game, or know too much about it, but I am glad to see this creativity come out of it. Good use of "contour" too!

And @whatisnew has a more poignant story of how writing and photography can brings us out of sadness. Isn't that what art is supposed to do? Take us to another place? This story and the photos will all stay with me for some time to come.

Thanks for the recommendation @fitnfun! : )
When I read this story over the weekend, I already knew that this would be my pick.
Betty and Danny, two familiar characters, looking for love in all the wrong places. Or did love just leave them in a shell of a relationship. I felt for both of them. Who's fault is it? Was one more wrong than the other? Or do broken people just gravitate towards one another, hoping for a fix only to break into smaller pieces. A Weekend FreeWrite can be tricky. And again @felt.buzz shows off his story telling skills, 3 Prompts, 2 Characters, 1 Scene. Go have a read

@freewritehouse, Kindly find the below Freewrite piece which is shared by @d00k13.

In Ideas Worth Spreading freewiite @d00k13 came up with some effective questions and these questions tells us that we have to question ourselves before doing anything because doing without knowing leads nowhere.
Keep up the awesome work team and stay blessed.

My favourite this week is https://steemit.com/freewrite/@mrscwin/buds-for-life-weekend-freewrite-842019-fmh4bdd3.
I loved how each of the weekendfreewrite prompts were seamlessly and cleverly weaved into this beautiful story about a lifelong friendship of one buddy saving the life of another who was about to commit suicide. Life can be tough and it is friendships like these that help one get through the challenges that come. Buds for life indeed.
Hereby my entry, sorry I have some problems writing much at the moment. 💕
My nomination for this week is written by my friend @angelro.
He used the prompt contour for his "My 5-minute freewrite CONTOUR".
After he read mine and thought "Why can't I?" He acted and wrote his first freewrite and proved he did even a better job as I!
What I like about his freewrite is that he proved it is not hard to write for 5 minutes and there is no need to write a short story to present a good read.
