Everyone Writes? We-All-Write! We all WIN!
Did you ever read a book and hope when you turn the page something you want to happen doesn’t? You get a bit disappointed and wish the Author had taken a story a different way? Me too!!
Let’s take a look at a Everyone Writes and break it down so everyone knows the fun that will be coming our way!
An Everyone writes starts with a single short story. Then it is up to the next person in line to take the reins and lead the story in any direction they want. That’s correct. You are in control of your part of the story. Once you have written your part of the story it’s then time for someone else to take a turn………..
“We have a question from the back of the room!” Chirpy Cherry says while bouncing up and down.
"What constitutes a part?" Too cool Muddy Tadder the V askes while eyeing up Jenny Bean.
Answer: More than a word or one sentence. Something to move the story along should be written. Cliffhangers are excellent endings for your part. Use your best judgment. We are all adults. Kind of. Well, maybe you are.
Now that we have that cleared up let’s get on to the rules of the game so you will then know all the fun that is coming your way and to come here and watch this page for when the new Everyone Writes is posted.

- Read the first part of 'The Story' in this post.
- Look through the comments in this post for the heading: The Story~Part 2
- Read all parts of the story you find in the comments of this post.
- Open a comment box and label it: The Story~Part ? adding the next number in line for the story so we can follow the story in the correct order.
- Post a comment with your story comment 'The Story~ part?' so people know someone is working on the next part and to wait before they post theirs.
- Click on Edit comment and write your part then hit update so your part now shows.
- HAVE FUN.
- Be silly, happy, sad, etc, if inclined, when writing your part of 'The Story'. You know, be Free!
- HAVE FUN.
- There are no extra points for proper grammar or formatting.
- Laugh, giggle and last HAVE FUN!
Does all this sound too good to be true? Do you wonder how many people can write a story and still have it be a story? I’m here to say it works out great!!! With cooperation, love, understanding and a bit of mischief thrown in you can end up with a twenty person story that is a ton of fun to read and know you were a part of.
Here was the test pilot for this wonderful new game. We-All-Write~ Full Moon. If you don’t think it’s possible for 20 people to make a story together that is filled with so much fun and laughter please go have a read and you will see all the wonderful twists and turns each Author left on the story and made it great!

I have a problem with the We-all-write because the order of the comments after a while makes adding a new part difficult. The order shows first the comments with more upvote value, and not in chronological order. When the story is around part 9 or 10, it's too much difficult for my poor brain to figure out the correct order :P
That can be a problem. there are a couple of ways to keep it clean. One is to go in and leave a comment on the contribution with a number - so it can be read 1, 2, 3, 4,
Another is to use the sort function
That sorts the comments in the order received - newest on top. Still, several people might write a continuation from the same part. The only way to avoid that is to make a rule that the person who is writing a continuation leaves a comment saying so and the next person has to wait until their piece is up. that might take the fun out of it. So, ask people to copy the part they are continuing from into their comment - you might get a story with many different choices....
A sort of "sliding doors" story...nice! Thank you!
So looking forward to this game and throwing spanners in the works with dastardly evil geniuses just after someone has written about Winnie the poo eating honey. Or a flowery poetic description after a grisly murder has just occurred in the previous part. I envision some surreal gems of wonderful whimsy and some chaotic creations to tickle all our funny bones 😉 Happy dayzzz

I missed out on the “We Write” post because I am pretty busy with the pesky, lingering, day job. I should just ditch it and join in on the fun @raj808 will be having monkey-wrenching (or throwing in a spanner) the Everyone Writes exercise. I have said in the past that nothing gets accomplished by committee — but I will happily revise that to say: nothing gets done by committee except really interesting fiction with incredible plot twists.

This is insane and I love it!! I thought WeWrite is crazy especially the sentence by sentence between the two writers. To do it in a group is a riot! And I would love love love to be a part of it....I just got this image of those clown shows where they are stepping out of a tiny car one after another and they just keep coming . And you are wondering how many are there?! Feels almost like that. Please make some room for me because I’m so in 😃

This sounds like so much fun! I recently read one about a girl on an airplane that @snook posted and loved it! It took so many crazy twists and turns that I had no idea where it was going to land! Will there be a way to know if you are the last one, or is that part of the fun? Haha I just hope I remember to look at the post in time to see it!

You people in the FreewriteHouse are so crazy in the best of ways! :)) I'll get back to comment stories tomorrow or so, I'm just tooooo tired today,,, wait, if I fall asleep now, maybe I'll dream of the first part of the story? And when I wake up, will I come to realize that there never has been a FreewriteHouse? Or that the whole world is the result of another contest of the FreewriteHouse folks? Oh, I'm tooo tired ... this is all crazy! And so much fun!

I have yet to do this exercise, but I have wanted to! I'm off work for the day... Had to take a sick day for a sinus infection. At least I was able to turn the opportunity into something to write about muhaha! This is a perfect day to sneak in a little more writing (if I don't fall asleep 🙃) I'm staring at the 1. option and waiting for it to fill up with wonderful stuff from @felt.buzz!
Thanks for the great explanation, and I like how you hold your comment spot. Early on in Steemit it I participated in one of these stories on MSP and they didn't do the comment marker so it got really funny LOL

I love how the HAVE FUN is in the rules 3 times. It is sort of a trailer. During the first 14 days to so, we are introducing every day one of the
crazyfun ideas we have planned for you all. Every day - a chance to win. After that, the fun begins in earnest 🤪 MarianneI might get banned from the game if I send the next writer onto a serious side street! This sounds like fun. I wonder if we will have anyone manage to get back to the start?
With all the talent in this bunch, we'd likely be able to crank out a Shakespeare sonnet faster than a bunch of monkeys at typewriters.

Are planning to ruin my life by giving me more and more and more and more excuses to write?
I mean I am barely following the daily prompt, I haven't read my daily dose of #freewrite. People will start to think that I am abandoning them. Sure, I vote for all the #freewrite but this ain't enough.
That's it, I am taking days off from my fake job to take care of my real job. Be warned, no one can stop me once I start.
