Super Sleuth - Another Story Chain Game
CONTEST TIME AGAIN!!! WRITE & EARN PRIZES!!!
The Rules: I will start a story, you continue with a story snippet. You can create your own branch from MY story beginning or you can continue an already started story. Just let the creativity flow and write some fun stories!
The Prizes: The Most-Upvoted Chain will win a share of the Prize. The Prize Pool will be equal to 80% of the SBD Earnings in this post. As an example, if we can hit the BIG TIME and make $100 total, we can assume that the actual earnings will be $80... the SBD earnings will be 40 SBDs. The 40 SBDs would be split equally between the participants in the winning Chain.
Bragging Rights!! Yes!!! You, too, can have Bragging Rights over all your friends and family and other writers... to do so, though, you must write.

Luxury & Lies
Who would have killed the Prime Suspect in a Murder trial? Sammy Bean twirled a knife between nimble fingers and sucked air through his bent teeth. He looked like he might be the one on trial, but in fact he would be the one to solve the crime.
The coarse accent caught Sammy off-guard. "What was THAT all about?"
Sammy raised an eyebrow and smirked. "What do YOU think it was all about? I shouldn't have to tell you all the deets, pal. You've been through Law School and know your way around Italian Bistros."
"Italian Bistros? What in God's name does that have to do with some rich bitch gettin' her just-desserts on a Cruise Ship?" Tank just didn't get the tidbits. He was phenomenal as a porter and quite learned, but was never quick to reach the conclusion.
"Jus' means that..." Sammy broke off as a keening whistle cracked through the low buzz of numerous conversations.
Constables rushed into the hall and...
