Lympo is changing the health data industry through blockchain innovations
The Lympo Team has taken on the challenge of solving problems with the health data industry utilizing the Ethereum Blockchain with their ERC-20 smart token. This token will incentivize users to provide accurate health and fitness data to companies to provide better products and services to their customers.
The Lympo blockchain starts with the users. It will consist of an App similar to the popular Stravia cycling and running app. In this app Lympo users will be able to determine which activities they want tracked, and will be compensated with Lympo for completing certain miletsones.

This data users provide through the app is then transferred to fitness and health companies. They can use this data to determine which products can be improved to help the end user perform better. The data can also be used for companies like insurance companies to determine better rates, or different offerings. The products and services that could be improved through partnerships with the Lympo team are truly exciting.
There are also exciting opportunities for local gyms to partner with Lympo.
They could offer membership discounts for Lympo holders, and accept payment in Lympo. By accepting payment in Lympo they could still very easily convert it into FIAT through financial exchanges, but they can also use it for promotions and contests. The gym could partner with the Lympo team to track miles ran on their stationary bikes, speed on rowing machines, weight records, visits per week, the information the gym management could get is limited only by their imagination.
The gym can then take that information and provide better services to their members, and offer contests. Again, the most miles on a stationary bike at the local gym, Earn some Lympo…most rows on a rowing machine, Earn some Lympo…This would incentivize their members to use their gym, but also push for a healthier community through friendly competition accessible to anyone and with tangible rewards.
I believe we are just at the tip of the iceberg here. But the Lympo team does have a long way to go for these implementations. They had a successful Presale, and ICO. They also recently listed on several, the most important being Cobinhood. Their token released above the ICO price. In the current Bear Crypto market this is a huge sign of mass adoption, which is truly important to any utility token such as Lympo. The climb in value of the crypto market as a whole should hopefully drive the price of the token even higher, making it more attractive to new users and companies looking to partner with the team.
They have the basic smart contract made, now they must implement the remaining items in the whitepaper along the timelines laid out in the roadmap.
Lympo has also stated that they are going to distribute shares in the actual company to LYM holders. Their CEO, Ada Jonuse, made the announcement on March 21, 2018. She feels that bringing the community into the company itself will help with transparency and with decision making. The community literally gets to be involved in how everything moves along, and the financial success of the token’s parent company itself.
This is a huge move. No major crypto to date offers equity in the parent company to token or coin holders, and often newer investors are confused as they think that holding the corresponding cryptocurrency gives them a share in the company. They are often disappointed when they find out that this is not true. This move bridges that gap somewhat, and might become the norm for crypto going forward.
I did participate in the presale of Lympo, and am happy with my purchase so far. I have the tokens tucked away safely in my cold storage wallet. I hope as time progresses this program improves dramatically, and I really look forward to becoming a shareholder in the company itself.
