I switched the jackpot System for a leaderboard every 4 weeks. Each week there will be some smaller guaranteed prizes like the Minnow Shares this week and the 30SP delegation to the best SBC Member. Instead building a jackpot that goes out each time someone manages to make 4+ units profit 100% of the post liquid earnings will add up during the 4 weeks and be fully paid out based on the made profit including the Upvote Share Giveaway. Last week the liquid post earnings were 1.796 STEEM which should add up to somewhere around 7-8 Steem monthly payout.

The idea is also to reward consistent entries. when entering only 3 out of 4 weeks the payout will be 3/4 (1/4 & 2/4 for entering only once or twice in the 4 weeks). The difference will be paid out equally to everyone who entered all 4 contests. This also helps to prevent using some forms of 'abuse'.

Let's say you are on top of the 4 week leaderboard after 2 weeks with +7.986 units profit. It would be easy to lock in your prize and likely 1st place by simply not entering in week 3 & 4. If this happens inly 2/4 of the rewards will be paid out while the other 2/4 will be split equally between everyone that entered in all 4 weeks regardless profit or loss.

I see these first 4 weeks as something of a test run for this new way of going about things and will evaluate things afterwards.
