So he had some skeletons in the closet. Goes to show a brilliant mind doesn't necessary mean a shining heart. People are definitely complicated and have their um, quirks (to put it politely). I guess it's a good thing you guys lost touch. It would be awkward, to say the least, to know all this and still be friends.
