I must admit that the picture for this weeks contest is quite tough but i made my entry with some words in form of a poem to interpret the image.kudos to the organisers for using an image that is really challenging

BASIC INTERPRETATION
The picture potrays a person(either male or female) who have been discarded or destroyed by the society,this person is confused and really concerned about this and is thinking of a way out to integrate back into the society.

POEM FOR ILLUSTRATION
I remember their smiles
Excitement all over their faces
As they mocked me
Making me feel less human
And lose my self esteem

Our planet is gradually dying,
A house with so much pain.
A place broken Dreams dives,
With shattered blocks
of what use to be called home
And bones of men littered all around,
they all splatter as it hits the ground

A land similar to a chessboard,
For kings, queens and nobles
To act like dictators.
A great power struggle
between power driven nations.
A land Where journalist and social media
Use pictures and stories to gain fame.

What happened to humanity?
How did we get to this point ?
How long are we going to cross our legs
as we watch our future die
All because we think the future is sure?
Throwing away our future
for a moment of fame and pleasure.
Now our world dies, our future dims.
And my picture tells a thousand stories

Now all that remain are ashes
And carcass of destruction
but,I will never give up
And bow to my enemies
I shall rise above them
And reclaim my crown.
