Corrective Contact Lenses for my daughter (1) | 女兒配戴矯視隱形眼鏡 (一)

As the rate of increase of my elder duaghter's short-sight problem was so high, we decided to get her a pair of Corrective Contact Lenses in order to stop the adverse situation.

因為大女兒的近視度數增長得很快，為免她最終會變成嚴重近視，我們決定讓她配戴矯視隱形眼鏡。

Corrective Contact Lenses are hard lenses that you wear the same pair everyday. The idea is to wear them while you sleep so that the hard lenses press your eyes' lenses to deform them in a way that your short-sightness get corrected. So when you wake up the other morning, you can take them off and enjoy a whole day of clear eye sight without any visual aids.

矯視隱形眼鏡是一種硬式隱形眼鏡，用家每天都是配戴着同一對鏡片的。每天晚上睡覺時帶着，用家的眼球就會被擠壓着而變形。到第二朝把鏡片除下來之後，近視度數就會減至零，而用家就可以享受一整天沒有近視的生活。

The other advantage is to control your degree of short-sight at your existing level. If a kid keep on wearing them until age of 16, supposely his/her degree of short-sight should remain unchange or even with a little improvement.

矯視隱形眼鏡另一個好處就是可以控制近視度數在開始配戴時的程度。如果小孩子一直配戴到16歲，理論上近視就不會增加，甚至會有輕微的減退。

With all the advantages, they are very expensive, taking long time to produce as they are customized for individuals. Moreover, the kid need to learn how to wear and take them off, and they have to be cleaned everyday.

這種隱形眼鏡有不少好處，但是就非常昂貴，而且製作費時。主要是因為這一對都是度「眼」訂造的。小朋友亦需要學習如何配戴及除下它們。
