Hello and G'day to all Steemians
A lot of action,hard work and sweat past in the meantime-since the last update in June.

Due to a really bad internet connection at the parents in law place and beeing very busy around the house and moving stuff into the new one,I wasn't able to do an earlier update.
I'm sorry for that.......

One very important point,-if not the most important thing when you build in Thailand,you have to be on site all the time,otherwise things get done not the way you want it.
Thais think it's better their way than the ''Farang''way,they do things differently without asking,as soon as you turn your back at them.

TO AVOID NASTY SURPRISES,BE ON SITE ALL THE TIME OR DELEGATE SOMEONE WHO HAS A GOOD KNOWLEDGE IN CONSTRUCTION AND CAN SPEAK THAI.

The local contractor from the next bigger town came with eight people after the concrete poles/columns were poured and dried-hardened.
A bit of bricklaying for the front wall,nothing big.It didn't even take them a full day and it was all done.

I'm very impressed with the professionalism and approach of this crew.
I sadly can't say that from our main contractor who built our house.(The big famous PD-HOUSE company)
They could learn a lot how to work efficient and precise.
While I'm writing this,we have still the foreman and his wife in and around the house,replacing tiles in the big bathroom and doing punch-lists.
Yes, they failed again,even to finish completely by the end of June.I have big hopes and it looks good so far,that they are out of our house by the end of this month.

We have clearly enough of them,don't want to see,hear and deal with them(PD HOUSE)
Just get out of our lives,forget them as soon as we signed off the final papers.

This picture is from the inside with the look to the road,neighbor and rice fields.Two days before it rained very heavy as you can see the water on the road.
On top of the wall,we gonna have a stainless steel frame.

The following day after they finished with the bricks,a new crew came and filled up the driveway into the car park with soil.

The view is from the upper floor down.They have done some compacting of the soil by human labor,no machines involved-no "whacker packer".
All these pictures were taken by the end of June and early July 2017.
It's progressing good.
