The CIA invented the term "conspiracy theory" because not enough people believed the official story about the JFK assassination.
- Through Operation Mockingbird they instructed the MSM to use it as a derogatory term.
- Their scheme did not work, because to this day hardly anyone believes the "official" JFK story.
- But unfortunately the term did stick as a derogatory.
