Why Is Conspiracy Not A Searchable Topic On Steemit

in #conspiracy8 years ago (edited)

I have noticed that Steemit has articles with posted tags that say "Conspiracy" yet you cannot search it on the search bar on the home page. While I don't necessary like the term "Conspiracy," it is a recognizable term to many who are into the realm of alternative media, , so not having it here seems extremely odd. It especially seems off because there are tags with conspiracy, yet none show up. Also, I am almost positive that tons of people who have flocked to Steemit are into Alt. media and conspiracy theories, so why is this not a place where we are dissecting them and talking about them? I see a huge market here for this topic and the potential for tons of redditors to flock over if we could get that space forming.

If anyone has any answers or ideas, please let me know.

Cheers!

I think you might be confusing the search box with the filter box. The filter box will only show trending tags, but if you search you can see anything on the site. It uses Google.

Thank you! And just like that it's solved

It's a concerted effort to stop you from revealing the truth. If only there was a word for that.

Good you reminded that one!
I would love to know that too.

It is dead serious issue. Because wrong people are being rewarded for stealing.

@jackgallenhall

It's probably not popular enough to show up in the list. There are a lot of tags that aren't visible on that list.

Not even when you type it into the search bar?

@churdtzu has the correct answer. If more people start using the conspiracy tag, it will eventually end up on the tag list. If you want to check the feed for it, you can either click on the tag in your post or modify the URL of the feed for any other tag.

It's a conspiracy!
