FBI's 'Secret Society' Text Recovered; Thousands of Other Agents' Messages Deleted by Same "Glitch"

Thousands of FBI employees have 'lost' records of text messages through the same technical glitch which Federal officials have blamed for missing communications of agent Peter Strzok. Strzok is at the center an ongoing scandal within the FBI after a series of his leaked text messages with FBI attorney Lisa Page appeared to show a significant 'anti-Trump' bias by the two former members of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of alleged Russian collusion. More recently, the release of additional messages from Page and Strzok referencing a 'secret society' within the FBI has lead to wider speculation concerning the true motivations behind Mueller's targeting of the Trump campaign, while providing possible evidence of a greater plot within the deep state.

In addition, Strzok has also been accused of helping Hillary Clinton and her aides escape charges during her email investigation, and other members of Mueller's team have donated money to the political campaigns of Hillary Clinton or other top Democrats, showing further evidence of a political agenda behind the FBI investigation.

CBS reported about the FBI's supposed text-message glitch yesterday:
DOJ officials claim that thousands of 'FBI-issued phones failed to store text-message data over at least a one-year period' (June 2016-May 2017). https://twitter.com/PaulaReidCBS/status/956262988083814400

Federal law enforcement has said that five-months worth of over 50,000 missing messages between agent Strzok and Lisa Page were lost due to a technical glitch which prevented the data from being uploaded or stored on the bureau's archive system.

However, given the critical timing of these lost messages over the span of 'at least' one year there is reason to question this excuse, already some are instead wondering whether the FBI might in fact have issued 'burner phones' to select agents for secret communications among pro-Hillary members of the Mueller team, while also helping protect Hillary in the email investigation, along with other potential secret operations over the past year.

Earlier this week, several lawmakers expressed worry over some recovered messages between Strzok and Page referencing an alleged 'secret society' inside the FBI, “We learned today about information that in the immediate aftermath of [Trump’s] election, that there may have been a secret society of folks within the Department of Justice and the FBI -- to include Page and Strzok -- that would be working against him.” said Congressman John Ratcliffe after reading the recovered texts.

On January 24th, the full message about the FBI's "secret society" was released by ABC News, "Are you even going to give out your calendars? Seems kind of depressing. Maybe it should just be the first meeting of the secret society," FBI lawyer Lisa Page wrote to Strzok, during his time working on the FBI's probe directed at Trump and so-called 'Russian meddling." Since it's release, the media and some officials are now claiming the message may have been made 'in jest'. Meanwhile, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz have said they've already began using forensic tools to recover more of the agent's 50,000 'lost' text messages after taking possession of 'at least four' phones owned by Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

Notably, there also seems to be some conflicting information concerning the timeline of these lost messages, while the media is now starting to focus on the 50,000 lost messages between Strzok and Page spanning from December 2016 to May 2017, it is interesting that there appears to be some conflicting reports on exactly when the thousands of other phones affected by the same glitch started being used in the FBI. CBS reported early yesterday that the glitch has occurred over the last year or more, (from at least June 2016 to May 2017) while other reports from Fox seem to shorten the period to five months, as a later report reads "The bug affected thousands of FBI cellphones between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017."

Federal officials have also told reporters that the same glitch has affected the phones of "nearly" 10% of FBI employees during this period. With over 35,000 FBI employees that means that there could be thousands of FBI agents using these suspected 'burner' phones, for secret communications hidden from both the public and the rest of the bureau.

What do you think is really going on with Strzok, these burner phones, and the rest of the FBI?

I feel pretty damn sure that if the FBI was investigating me and I deleted some text messages that they would be able to recover them without any trouble.

Thankfully these texts have been found. Interesting times ahead.

Must be the same glitch that caused all of Hillary and Lois Lerner's emails to be deleted.
