WHAT HAPPENED TO BILL?
That's rather interesting...
Just seventeen days ago, a most peculiar video interview with Bill Nye existed on the NAFSA YouTube Channel. Published back in September of 2018, it had gotten a few hundred views and a lot of comments that seemed as bizarre as the interview. Back when it was still up I downloaded it to use in a commentary piece about how peculiar the interview was, but now the original has been removed.... I wonder what's up?
BYE BYE BILL NYE?
The original interview was call "Up Close with Bill Nye," and pieces of it can still be viewed in my video above. The thing that I foudn most peculiar about the interview is that Bill Nye kept inserting unrelated things into his answers, and honestly, it seemed like the "Flat Earth Movement" was one of his actual biggest concerns... yes, really.
As I contemplate that YouTube is now working to push 9/11 conspiracy videos and Pro-Flat Earth videos deep into the deep pages of their search engines, it really makes one wonder. If NASA was credible and the round earth orbiting the sun was reality, why would there be such pressure to discredit and censor something like people believing in the flat earth?
Seriously, the shape of the earth has no real effect on the vast majorty of people's lives, so why are Bill Nye and others so concerned about it? Will Bill still be able to hand you your fast food order if he believes in a flat earth? Will Shelia still be able to check out your groceries at the supermarket if she believes in a flat earth? Seriously!
Anyway, a few videos about the interview with Bill Nye had been created before it disappeared, and it seems that many of them gained much more attention than the original interview. Plenty of other "Up Close With..." interviews are still available in the NAFSA video history on YouTube so why did Bill have to go?

Yea, it sure makes you wonder what the deal is when a so-called “scientist” tries to discredit a flat earch. Just like why would the government want to mandate vaccines.
Bill Nye is an actor, and as such he takes his queues from someone else.
If you have ever talked to a scientist, they do not sound like Bill Nye. That is why he is a TV scientist, because a real scientist is not very coherent to the average person.
He doesn't even have a science degree. He is an engineer.

The problem is that we don't really understand the word "pillars"
However, if we study the true nature of the earth, we will, and that will bring us closer to understanding God.

Well, I do have it somewhere... but I'm way backwoods 3G out here, it'd take forever for me, as I usually had issues with DTube anyways.
Alarming Facts = Fake News. Mainstream = Politically Correct = Social Awareness. At least that's how these media giants seem to react when it comes to censorship and public awareness announcements.

Definitely a divisive topic, the flat earth topic. And yes, it doesn't really matter except the fact that we have been lied to, if in fact it is true.
What I find interesting is that YouTube is going through another round of censorship with those topics you listed above: flat earth and 911 conspiracy theory videos. Where's the outcry on free speech? Oh......we need the nanny state to take care of us and to decide for us what is right and wrong (just like in the school system).
Whoever controls the media controls the message. AND whoever wins the war writes the narrative for future generations to believe as fact. One must be a critical thinker and not a finger pointer/name caller.
Divide and conquer programming is everywhere. The big question should be: Why?
I am sincerely curious, to all the people who believe that the earth is flat, where do you believe that the edges are?

They believe Antarctica is the edge of the world and that we are surrounded by a giant ice wall.
